Field Trips
Field trips at March Farm are fun & educational. They begin with an introduction & history of the farm, followed by a guided tour of our apple harvesting facilities, including:
- The apple washing/sorting machine room
- Enormous refrigerated apple storage room
- Cider Mill building
Our animal yard is an additional stop between apple facility buildings. Upon completion of the tour, students are directed to one of three designated orchards for apple picking & a cool glass of apple cider. Field trips typically cater to children ages K-5th grade, and are available during the months of September & October.
Birthday Parties
Birthday parties at March Farm offer a unique, picturesque setting for both children & adults, right in the middle of the farm. Rental of this beautiful facility includes:
- Private use of our pond side picnic area; complete with sound system, stage, grill, picnic tables, bonfire pit w/firewood, paddle boats & kayaks w/life jackets, horse shoe pit, outdoor ping-pong table & beach volleyball court.
- Access to our animal yard, hayloft playscape, farm hiking trails & hay ride shuttle.
- Seasonal fruit picking.
- Seasonal sunflower & corn mazes.
Rental of this facility is available June through October @
$50/hour (4 hours minimum).
